We, at Compix Inc., have been long-time supporters of Matrox Imaging Boards.  It has recently come to our attention that serious problems exist with newer host computers and Matrox Imaging Boards, specifically the Meteor II Digital, Multi-Channel, and 2/4 Standard Boards. When upgrading to newer Intel chipsets or BIOS revisions, the Meteor boards may not be recognized by Windows. Various in-house tests and numerous field reports have confirmed this issue.
